I have always been passionate about fitness. Throughout high school I participated in a variety of team sports, as well as having exercised most of my life on my own. In addition, my college program (Fitness & Health Promotion) helped me develop more in-depth knowledge of Anatomy, Exercise physiology, Nutrition, instead of just knowing how to do a few exercises.
Also, in my current position with Nielsen fitness, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, having goals as simple as losing weight, or more complex things like recovering from certain injuries. This variety has tested my ability to cater to the specific needs of a client and is one of my favourite parts of being a trainer. These experiences have shown me that I enjoy using my understanding of fitness to help clients achieve their goals and more importantly, improve their quality of life.
